We can help with tenancy problems, eviction notices, disrepair, how to make a homelesness application, the housing register, anti social behaviour even problems with the neighbours.

Our assessment team can either answer your question immediately or make an appointment for you to sit down and discuss it with an adviser. There are occasions that we can't help but we have a number of partner organisations that we work with that we can refer you to.

At the first interview we will begin by assessing the whole situation, for this we will need you to bring all relevant documentation –

  • Tenancy agreement (if you have one)
  • Details of the names on the tenancy agreement (i.e. joint names)
  • Rent book/details of rent
  • Name and address of landlord and/or letting agency
  • Contact details of housing officer/contact phone number
  • Any letters from Crawley Borough Council/Housing Association/another council
  • Home Insurance documents
  • Mortgage company details
  • Mortgage account details (outstanding amount, type of mortgage, including payment record if available)
  • ALL court papers relating to any possession proceeding
  • Letters relating to possession proceedings
